Give UTCP users free web search and page fetching with Parallel Search MCP. Anonymous search uses Fast mode, with no account or API key needed.
The MCP plugin README now includes the server configuration and a runnable example. Install the core and MCP plugin, then run
plugins/communication_protocols/mcp/examples/parallel_search.pyto discover and call both tools throughUtcpClient. You can supply a query and a page URL. The example closes its client and leaves existing configuration unchanged. Anonymous access has lower rate limits than authenticated access.I work at Parallel.
Summary by cubic
Adds a runnable example and README section for free web search and page fetching via Parallel Search MCP.
Running
examples/parallel_search.pydiscovers theparallelmanual and callsparallel.search.web_searchandparallel.search.web_fetchthroughUtcpClient.call_tool, reusing one anonymous session ID. Anonymous access needs no account or API key, uses Fast mode, and has lower rate limits than authenticated access. The example closes its client and does not change existing configuration.Written for commit 37aaefc. Summary will update on new commits.
