Document debug subcommands and fix stale examples in manuals (#2173)
Replace the \Type help for more details\ placeholders in the
console reference with detailed sections for all seven debug subcommand
families: breakpoint, watchpoint, condition, probe, watchexpr, symbols
and trace.
Also fix content that had drifted from the current behavior:
- Rewrite examples that mixed the new subcommand names with the old
  positional set_bp-style arguments (e.g. \breakpoint create 0xF37D
{cond}\), which were never valid for these families and always
failed, with verified property-style arguments (-address,
  -condition, -type, ...)
- Correct setting name too_fast_vram_access_callback to
  VDP.too_fast_vram_access_callback
- Note machine and build availability for laserdiscplayer /
  autorunlaserdisc
- Replace obsolete \debug watchpoint add read_io/write_io\ reference
  in the user's manual
All documented command forms were verified against a running openMSX
instance.,

[APU] Follow the sub-stream skip chain past frameless packets
GetNextPacketReadOffset() scanned sequentially for the next packet
containing a frame start. In a buffer interleaving several sub-streams
the next sequential packet belongs to a different stream, so a context
stepping onto it merged the two packet chains permanently and decoded
the wrong stream's frames for the rest of the buffer.
Follow the skipped packet's own skip count instead, keeping the walk
within one sub-stream.
Fixes LEGO games that froze up during opening cutscenes (Star Wars 3,
LotR, Batman 2),

Use a consistent threading model throughout
Since all of the object files we're building go into the binary that
uses `-pthread` (due to SDL, where available), all of them should be
compiled with `-pthread` to ensure a consistent threading model.
This also allows all object files to use the same PCH on clang,
where threading model is part of the PCH data.,

misc: check WAV asset format
Validate changed .wav files directly in check-changes.py by parsing the
RIFF/WAVE header and locating the fmt chunk.
Reject files that are not uncompressed PCM, 16-bit, mono, or sampled at
22050 or 44100 Hz. The sample-rate restriction is a practical content
policy rather than an engine limitation.
Structural WAV problems such as missing or truncated headers now produce
errors before the format fields are checked.,

syncthing.mk v2.1.4-rc.2 # Version: Commits on Aug 24, 2026
-----------------------------------------------------------
## Major changes in 2.1
- Devices and folders can now be grouped in the GUI by setting the new
  `group` attribute.
- HTTP and HTTPS proxies with support for CONNECT can now be used, in
addition to the existing support for SOCKS proxies (the environment
  variable `all_proxy=https://...`).
- Block indexing can be turned off for folders where it's more desirable to
optimise for reduced database size and overhead than minimal transfer
size (the `blockIndexing` attribute on folder configuration).
- GUI login session duration can be configured to be longer or shorter than
the default one week, or set to infinitely long. The cookie path can also
be adjusted. (The `sessionCookieDurationS` and `sessionCookiePath`
  attributes in the GUI configuration.)
This release is also available as:
* APT repository: https://apt.syncthing.net/
* Docker image: `docker.io/syncthing/syncthing:2.1.4-rc.2` or `ghcr.io/syncthing/syncthing:2.1.4-rc.2`
(`{docker,ghcr}.io/syncthing/syncthing:2` to follow just the major version)

memmap: survive JIT cache mapping failure and support Apple silicon W^X
map_jit_block tested mmap results against NULL, but mmap signals
failure with MAP_FAILED. On a platform where every RWX attempt fails
(hardened runtimes without a JIT entitlement, and Apple silicon
unconditionally for non-MAP_JIT mappings) the mapper burned all
candidate iterations validating and munmapping (void*)-1, returned no
block, retro_init stored the NULL unchecked, and the first translation
wrote through it. Failed attempts now compare against MAP_FAILED, a
NULL cache is logged and pins dynarec_enable to the interpreter (the
core option cannot re-enable it), dynarec init and teardown are
skipped when no cache exists, and the core keeps running frames on the
interpreter instead of crashing.
On Apple platforms the cache is now mapped with MAP_JIT, and on Apple
silicon writes to it are gated with pthread_jit_write_protect_np.
block_lookup_address_arm/thumb is the sole gateway through which block
headers, RAM tag entries, emitted code and branch patches reach the
cache - translation, deferred-exit patching and init_bios_hooks all
funnel through it - so the per-thread write window opens on entry and
closes again before any translated code can run, with no assumptions
about which thread calls in. The helpers are no-ops everywhere else.,

Use plain string arrays for core option value lists
Core option value lists are now NULL-terminated const char* arrays
and fillBasicOption() walks them directly. This removes the only
std::initializer_list use in the core, which does not compile as a
constexpr with libc++ under -std=c++11 (the Android NDK build).,

options: offer the GLideN64 shader cache on GLES 3.x builds
The EnableShadersStorage option was declared and read under
!defined(HAVE_OPENGLES), which keeps it off every GLES build. The
capability it needs is the program-binary API, which GLES 2.0 lacks
and GLES 3.0 has in core - and the GLES 3.x build mode targets are
exactly the hosts where cold shader compilation is slowest and a
cache pays the most. Gate on HAVE_OPENGLES2 instead: the GLES 3.x
mode now declares and reads the option, with the existing \True\
default applying there just as it does on desktop.
GLES 2.0 builds are unchanged - the option stays absent, and
GLideN64 is not built there anyway - as are VC builds, which keep
their own exclusion.,

SPU2: rebuild the ADSR phase cache on key-on
The cached ADSR phase parameters are only rebuilt when a game writes the
ADSR1/ADSR2 registers. A voice keyed on without ever writing them runs the
envelope against an all-zero cache, whose zero attack target advances the
phase machine to stopped within a few samples. Hardware instead runs the
power-on envelope: instant attack to full scale, decay to the sustain
floor, then an increasing sustain that pegs ENVX at maximum. Refresh the
cache at key-on so the envelope always follows the registers, including
their reset values.,

build: spell the RISC-V ARCH_NAME in upper case
ARCH_NAME only ever gets interpolated into the name of a release
artifact -- the libretro zip, the wx zip and app bundle, the Android APK
-- and the RISC-V arms of the architecture check were the only ones
spelling their name in lower case, so a riscv64 build stood out against
ARM64 and ARM32 beside it.
Nothing compares against the value, so this is a rename of those
artifacts and nothing more: vbam-libretro-<os>-RISCV64.zip and
visualboyadvance-m-RISCV64.apk.
