geni not working on JDK 17

using geni on jdk 17 fails with:

Syntax error macroexpanding at (defaults.clj:13:4).
Execution error (NoSuchMethodException) at java.lang.Class/getConstructor0 (Class.java:3761).
java.nio.DirectByteBuffer.(long,int)

Reproduce:

• use JDK 17
  run scripts/test-geni-cli

I faced the same issue and fixed it by adding the below startup arguments.
