The SVG2 spec draft is automatically rebuilt on pushes to this repository.
SVG 2 is written in Bikeshed: one file per chapter in master/ (master/shapes.bs, ...), put together by master/index.bs. To build it, install Bikeshed 7.2.0 or later (pip install bikeshed) and run make; the pages go to build/bikeshed/svg2-draft/. make check fails if a published id went missing. How the source is written (link shorthands, generated element summaries, ids) is explained in tools/svg2-build/README.md. Every tool in the repository, and how each spec is built, is listed in tools/README.md.
The modules under specs/ still use the older HTML build (make all-specs, which needs Node.js).

The SVG working group welcomes contributions to their specifications. These can be made by filing a pull request. Please see CONTRIBUTING.md, LICENSE.md and CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md .
