Update the target platform to the 2026-06 release train and centralize the Tycho version in .mvn/maven.config so the build extension and the reactor cannot drift apart. The compiler release moves to Java 25. The p2 update handler now asks for the repository location, accepts both URLs and local directories, and remembers the last choice in the instance preferences. The installer module moves behind an "installer" profile so the default build no longer needs jpackage, and a new pomless example module shows plugin_customization.ini in an IDE-based product.
The compiler release moved to Java 25, so Tycho emits an osgi.ee JavaSE 25 requirement that a JDK 21 resolution context cannot satisfy. The tagged release workflow still ran on JDK 11 and would have failed on the next tag for the same reason.

.mvn/maven.configand referenced from.mvn/extensions.xml, so the build extension and the reactor can no longer drift apart, and the Maven wrapper moves to 3.9.11.The p2 update handler gained a small dialog: it asks for the repository location, accepts a URL or a local directory, and remembers the last choice in the instance preferences instead of relying on a system property. The
