[Bug] Thunderbird Widget Fails -- Cannot be Deleted #398

Closed

Description

@daffydock

Hi,

Upon latest update, albeit I cannot be certain if this is exactly what has caused it but the temporal correlation points in this direction. Thunderbird has not been updated in some time and the widget in question has been there for weeks and only broke today.

Anyway, the small widget that shows inbox counts crashed and albeit it can be moved up or down. It cannot be removed, deleted or even interacted in any other way.

This said, a brand new widget from the same app can be created and it seems to work fine. Example:

Motorola Power 2024, Android 15
Unfortunately and as you can see, I cannot reproduce the error.
It just seems to hang there. Rebooted device and widget still remains there, broken.

    This is happening while running 4.7.
    Albeit true, the Smartspacer widget did start working on this version.

    I've uploaded a new apk for 4.7. Download again.

    Ah, I see.
    Downloaded latest.

    With newest version the widget still shows broken however, unlike before I can now click on it and delete it.

    Essentially, the issues is now resolved.

    Thank you.
