CI already runs on every pull request, so waiting for a second CI run to complete on main only delayed the release. Trigger the publish on push to main instead. Version-change detection, publishing and tagging are unchanged, as is workflow_dispatch.

CI already runs on every pull request, so the code has been verified before it reaches
main. Triggering directly onpush: branches: [main]starts the release immediately on merge, cutting a full CI cycle off the release time.
