OpenGL: fix per-frame VAO leak in the ImGui GL3 backend
ImGui_ImplOpenGL3_SetupRenderState generated the VAO into its
`vertex_array_object` parameter, which is passed by value, so the name never
reached ImGui_ImplOpenGL3_RenderDrawData. There the local was still 0, the
`if (vertex_array_object != 0)` guard was false, and glDeleteVertexArrays never
ran — a VAO was leaked every frame. The OSD is drawn every frame, so on Mesa
(radeonsi) host memory grows unbounded until OOM; Vulkan is unaffected.
Move the glGenVertexArrays back into RenderDrawData and pass the handle to
SetupRenderState for binding only, so the existing glDeleteVertexArrays runs
and the VAO is recreated each frame (staying valid across GL context changes),
matching the upstream ImGui backend.,

SerialPort: only include <IOKit/serial/ioss.h> on macOS
__APPLE__ is also defined on iOS, where IOKit has no serial/ subframework,
so the include fails. Guard on TARGET_OS_OSX instead, and let the
IOSSIOSPEED call fall into the existing non-Apple branch.
Verified by compiling this file against both SDKs: it now builds for
arm64-apple-ios16.3 as well as macOS, and behaviour on macOS is unchanged
since TARGET_OS_OSX is 1 there.,

bsx: erase the memory pack flash to 0xFF, not 0x00 (#1096)
S9xResetBSX filled the 8M pack with zeros. Flash writes here go through
BSX_Set_Bypass_FlashIO, which does `FlashROM[x] = FlashROM[x] & byte`.
The AND is right for real flash, where programming can only clear bits.
It also means a zero-filled buffer throws away every write made to it.
Block Erase and Chip Erase in this same file already write 0xFF.
Nothing reports the failure. S9xGetBSX returns a fixed 0x80 for the
Compatible Status Register, so the write looks like it worked. You only
find out on a read-back, and the block allocation table lives in the same
flash, so that comes back empty too. The download hangs instead of failing.
The buffer is a medium, not scratch space. This memset only runs when
Settings.BSXItself is set, meaning the BS-X BIOS was loaded on its own.
S9xInitBSX then memmoves the shell into BIOSROM and points FlashROM at
Memory.ROM, so Memory.ROM becomes an emulated 8 Mbit Memory Pack. Boot the
shell by itself and you get the town with a blank pack already in the slot.
This memset is that pack's erase.
It went unnoticed because almost nobody reaches it. The service shut down
in 2000, and the usual way to run BS-X in an emulator is to load a .bs file
as content, which takes the other branch and never calls this memset. You
need the shell booted on its own and a live broadcast arriving to see it.,

ci: fix flaky 404 on Windows release asset upload
softprops/action-gh-release@v1 hit an upstream eventual-consistency
bug where the upload_url returned right after release creation could
404 on the first asset upload. Bump to @v2 which handles this, and
explicitly grant contents: write to the deploy job so upload
permission failures don't masquerade as 404s.

Restore touch callbacks for removed impact entities
Run the second entity's touch callback when it survives the first callback, even if the first entity removed itself. Hipnotic nails remove themselves in their touch function, but the spike mine still needs its reciprocal touch callback to explode.
Retain edict slots while native code carries their identity across QuakeC callbacks so a removed slot cannot be reused as another entity. Keep ED_Free field clearing immediate and defer only insertion into the reusable free list.
Restore the normal edict reuse grace period from 2.0 seconds to Quake's original 0.5 seconds; the separate first-two-seconds startup exception remains unchanged.,

ss: event-driven DMA scheduling in quantised-interleave mode
Counting event-handler invocations over 60 s of Daytona USA: the
master and slave SH-2 DMA handlers ran 20.9M and 17.7M times and the
SCU DMA handler 20.6M -- one event every ~30 CPU cycles -- because
SH7095_DMA_Update unconditionally re-arms itself every 128 cycles (32
during a scatter-gather) and SCU_UpdateDMA every 127, whether or not any
channel is active, and each idle visit also runs RecalcPendingIntPEX and
CheckEnterBurstHack. With FindNextEventTS and EventHandler that was
about 9% of all samples for no work.
With a non-exact interleave quantum, SH2_FastDMAEvents makes them
event-driven. The SH-2 handler returns SS_EVENT_DISABLED_TS when no
channel satisfies DMA_RunCond (pure DMAOR/CHCR state) and no
scatter-gather window is open; the DMAC register writes already re-arm
through DMA_StartSG, and the ExtHalt transitions now re-arm through
SH7095_DMAEventRearm. The SCU handler returns disabled when no level is
active, parking RunUntil at the maximum so the first visit after
CheckDMAStart re-arms it starts the time counter at that visit, as a
poll would have. The lazy bookkeeping shifts a DMA's first transfers
by up to one poll interval relative to the polled version, which is
why this is confined to quantised mode: exact mode is byte-identical to
the previous build at every checkpoint. Measured with the RTC pinned
(tools/faketime.so) so every run plays the same attract content,
Daytona over the 4800-frame window: exact 102 fps, quantum 256 with
event-driven DMA 161-166 fps; earlier unpinned runs varied by up to
+/-10% with the attract phase. VF2 boots and fights; both games are
deterministic run-to-run.
tools/faketime.c now overrides time() only, leaving clock_gettime real,
so it serves timing runs as well as hash comparisons.,

new_dynarec: restore the caller's W^X mode after cache_flush on Apple arm64
pthread_jit_write_protect_np() is a per-thread mode with no query API, so
new_dynarec.c now tracks whether the JIT region is currently writable, and
cache_flush() on macOS arm64 puts the mode back the way it found it instead
of unconditionally re-enabling writes. cache_flush() is called from two
contexts: inside new_recompile_block(), where the block is still being
worked on afterwards (Pass 10 expiry kills pointers in the region) and the
session ends with its own jit_write_disable(); and from
invalidate_all_pages() on save-state load, where nothing is writing. In the
second case the old code left the emulation thread in write mode, so the
next entry into the MAP_JIT region after loading a state faulted on a
non-executable page (libretro/parallel-n64#839). The same applies to
do_clear_cache(), which is currently a no-op on arm64 but calls
cache_flush() outside a session when it does fire.
Also drops the second, unreachable `#elif defined(__APPLE__)` branch in
cache_flush(); the __builtin___clear_cache branch above it already covers
non-arm64 Apple targets.,
