Description
This pull request introduces a new governance framework by adding four key policy documents to the src/Governance/domains directory. These documents establish clear guidelines for web accessibility, WCAG compliance, content moderation, and UI design, closing existing governance gaps and providing a versioned reference for contributors and maintainers.
Key Changes
Web Accessibility Governance: A new ACCESSIBILITY_GOVERNANCE.md document has been created to define the target WCAG level, audit cadence, and merge gate for regressions.
WCAG Compliance Policy: The WCAG_COMPLIANCE.md document outlines the success criteria in scope, testing tools, and exemption process for WCAG compliance.
Content Moderation Policy: A CONTENT_MODERATION.md document has been added to specify prohibited content, the review workflow, and the appeal path for user-generated content.
UI Design Governance: The UI_DESIGN_GOVERNANCE.md document establishes a design-review requirement, a component-reuse rule, and the designated sign-off owner for UI changes.
These additions ensure that our project adheres to best practices and maintains a high standard of quality and consistency.
