   Published, 2026-10-02, on the maintainer's go-ahead.

   • Release commit: b08ba7ff (release: v4.0.0-alpha.61 #431), with CI green on that exact commit. Tag v4.0.0-alpha.61 pushed; release.yml run 37074373873 passed both jobs (publish, github-release).
   • npm: 4.0.0-alpha.61 is on the next dist-tag with provenance (https://slsa.dev/provenance/v1). latest is unchanged. The registry took about four minutes to show it; a stale local npm cache made the first npx attempt fail, and a fresh cache fixed it.
   • GitHub Release: https://github.com/pacphi/agentic-kit/releases/tag/v4.0.0-alpha.61, marked a pre-release.

   Acceptance criteria:
