A package that a newer guest image adds for a Try Omarchy feature never reached a disk created by an older image.
try-omarchy-runtimeonly depended on pamixer and playerctl, so Update > Omarchy upgraded Omarchy's files but never installed anything new. That matters for the features landing now: app drops need gtk4-layer-shell, and the Hello broker and 1Password unlock need openssl, polkit and GTK.Guest patch 0101 adds an
integrationDependslist to the spec and makes the runtime package depend on it: GTK 3 and 4, gtk4-layer-shell, python-gobject, polkit, openssl, socat, jq, wl-clipboard, libnotify, libpulse, xdg-user-dirs, zstd, the fcitx5 input packages and CJK fonts. packageRelease goes to 5, so the next Update > Omarchy upgrades the runtime and pacman installs whatever is missing. User-facing apps stay off the list, so an app someone removed on purpose isn't brought back. The guest contract checks the list is sorted, fully in the package lock and emitted by the runtime build.The upgrade smoke test now removes noto-fonts-cjk from the older guest during seeding and requires the upgrade to install it again, plus every direct runtime dependency to be present.
Tested:
smoke-guest-upgrade.pyfrom the published v0.5.0 image to a candidate built from this branch passed all five phases. The upgrade took the runtime from 4.0.3-4 to 4.0.3-5 through the normalomarchy-updateand reinstalled noto-fonts-cjk, and the reboot, old-image and return phases passed.
