Galil Motion Controller (DMC-4080) utility for Liger (WMKO). This script allows for testing switches, moving stepper motors, and disabling stepper motors using a Galil controller.

python3 liger_galil_controller.py [-h] -a ADDRESS {switch,stepper,disable} {A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H}-a ADDRESS,--address ADDRESS: IP address of the Galil controller (Required)mode: Operation mode. axis: Axis identifier. Choices:A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H
Monitor the status of switches on Axis A. Press Ctrl+C to stop.
python3 liger_galil_controller.py -a 192.168.1.10 switch AMove the stepper motor on Axis B. The movement parameters (degrees, speed, acceleration) are currently configured in the code.
Warning
You must disable the stepper motor after running the stepper command. The stepper motor will become extremely hot due to the current continuing to flow to the motor.
