This PR fixes two nightly validation failures from run 39922643376. Both were test bugs, not product bugs.

Details

  • LXC GA egress (rhel-10): RHEL 10 sets kernel.io_uring_disabled, so the io_uring probe gets EPERM from io_uring_setup and never prints a result. The test now accepts that as "io_uring unavailable" when the host has it disabled. Other hosts still run the full assert_blocked check.
  • ProcessContainer grandchild timeout (prerelease arm64): two Windows PowerShell cold starts took longer than the 5 s readiness deadline. Readiness deadline is now 15 s and process.timeout is now 20 s, within the existing 30 s upper limit.

🔵 Needs a closer look

Successful RHEL 10 and Windows arm64 nightly validation is still pending, leaving the host-specific fixes unconfirmed.

What changed in this PR

This PR adjusts two backend validation tests for host-specific conditions without changing product behavior.

Changes:

  • Accept io_uring setup returning EPERM when the host reports io_uring disabled; retain the blocking assertion otherwise.
  • Increase ProcessContainer grandchild readiness to 15 seconds and execution timeout to 20 seconds for slower arm64 cold starts.
File Description
tests/scripts/run_processcontainer_policy_tests.ps1 Extends readiness and timeout windows for the grandchild cleanup test.
tests/scripts/run_lxc_network_ga_egress_test.sh Handles host-disabled io_uring in the egress validation test.
