FUAM Load_Capacity_Metrics Pipeline Error Capacity Metrics data structure is not compatible

Hi, I'm experiencing the same issue with FUAM Capacity Metrics.

My Capacity Metrics app is currently version 65, but the deployed 01_Transfer_CapacityMetricData_Timepoint notebook only checks for v53, v47, v40, and v37. It therefore fails with:

ERROR: Capacity Metrics data structure is not compatible or connection to capacity metrics is not possible.

I also tried updating FUAM using the latest Deploy_FUAM.ipynb from the main branch (removed the previous deployment notebook, imported the latest one, and ran it successfully), but the deployed Capacity Metrics notebook still contains the same version-detection logic and does not include v65.

Could you please confirm whether Capacity Metrics v65 is currently supported by FUAM, and if so, where the v65-compatible notebook/code is available? Is there a recommended workaround or fix for this issue?

Capacity Metrics App: v65
Error occurs in: 01_Transfer_CapacityMetricData_Unit

Workaround / Solution

If Load_Capacity_Metrics_E2E fails in
01_Transfer_CapacityMetricData_Unit with:

ERROR: Capacity Metrics data structure is not compatible or connection to capacity metrics is not possible.

first verify the Capacity Metrics workspace and semantic model parameters.

1. Verify the Capacity Metrics workspace

Open the Microsoft Fabric Capacity Metrics app workspace.

The workspace ID can be obtained from the workspace URL:

/groups/<workspace-id>/

Make sure this is the workspace containing the Fabric Capacity Metrics semantic model.

2. Verify the semantic model

Open the Fabric Capacity Metrics semantic model and obtain its semantic-model/dataset ID.

3. Update FUAM pipeline parameters

Open:

Load_Capacity_Metrics_E2E

(or the corresponding parameters in Load_FUAM_Data_E2E)

and verify:

• metric_workspace
• metric_dataset

Use the current Capacity Metrics workspace and semantic model values.

The metric_dataset can be set to the semantic model name:

Fabric Capacity Metrics

if using the name resolves correctly in the environment.

4. Test the connection

Before running the full pipeline, open:

01_Transfer_CapacityMetricData_Timepoints_Unit

and run:

5. Run the Capacity Metrics pipeline

Save the pipeline parameters and run:

Load_Capacity_Metrics_E2E

If the workspace and semantic-model parameters are correct, all three notebooks should execute successfully:
