I noticed that Warpinator wouldn't start up correctly with my system (Linux Mint 22.3 - Cinnamon), and I thought that adding a delay to the autostart desktop file would help with that. I tested this change by doing the same thing to /etc/xdg/autostart/warpinator-autostart.desktop on my computer, and it worked correctly. I also changed the comment to be the same as the comment in org.x.Warpinator.desktop.in.in.

Since this is not a common complaint I'm suspicious of something specific to your system that's causing this problem to occur - I always leave warpinator with autostart enabled and it's never failed to start.

Do you mean it doesn't show up in the tray area at all? Or that it doesn't connect with other network devices?

If the former, could you enable session manager logging:

gsettings set org.cinnamon.SessionManager debug true

And take a look at your ~/.xsession-errors file for any related messages.
