This repo contains projects, system scripts, and API services running on my raspberry pi 5
This section contains code and documentation for large-scale projects I've developed or am currently developing on the pi
-
hsl-departures
- This is the initial development of the process used to gather HSL departure information which was later built out into an API
-
pi-dashboard
- This project is built using functionality from the gizak/termui repo.
- I built this is a method to learn the Go programming language
- The program creates a visual dashboard of certain metrics pulled directly from the raspberry pi (ex. temperature, storage, etc...)
-
time-machine-server
- When I set up the raspberry pi to backup our macbooks wirelessly on our home network, I added documentation here to explain what steps were taken
Several API services are hosted here using Flask
-
current_time/hello_world
- Basic testing services to confirm functionality
-
hsl_departures
- Hosting an API endpoint to be called via Siri Shortcuts on my iPhone and return realtime HSL departure data for local transit stops
-
payment_ledger
- Functionality still in progress
- The goal is to have a sqlite database to store transactions which are logged from Apple Pay
- Transactions will be logged in a file on iphone using Siri Shortcut automations, and I will create a recurring job to send these (via api) to the raspberry pi to be stored in sqlite db
- I can then host a webpage to view/filter these transactions
Bash scripts are stored here to be used for regular processes needed on the raspberry pi either
-
api-maintenance
- All scripts used to reload API when changes are made
- Also contains documentation about systemctl changes running the flask service
-
github-maintenance
- Script used for pulling changes from this repo to the pi
- Additional scripts may be added here, or functionality could be built to have a self-hosted github action pull automatically when repo changes are committed to main
-
pi-maintenance
- Scripts for maintaining raspberry pi (ex. updates, restarts, etc...)
