Moves contract CI from end-of-life Node 18 to Node 22.23.4 and aligns the project engine range to the patched 22.x line.
Validation: frozen pnpm install with lifecycle scripts disabled passed. On exact Node 22.23.4, Hardhat compiled 40 Solidity files and all 6 contract tests passed using only the local test network and a public dummy key. JSON/YAML parsing and git diff --check passed. The frontend was not built locally. The automatically triggered Vercel preview and its comment check succeeded on this exact PR head; no production deployment was manually initiated. Lockfile and application dependency versions are unchanged.
The lock's brotli-wasm 2.0.1 uses the separate Rust implementation, not the native C decoder identified by this CVE; it was not blindly upgraded. Production runtime selection still needs independent verification and rollout.
Vendor evidence:
This is a scoped runtime fix for CVE-2026-111497, not a claim that the repository, dependencies, hosted service or operating system has no other security issues.
