👋 Hi, I’m Daniel Burlacu
I’m a Senior Software Developer at Gofore SLI Spain, a former Blockchain Consultant at The Risk Protocol, and the founder of ANIVERA and Kronosvera.
I combine software development experience with practical cybersecurity skills and knowledge of cloud architecture, blockchain, and AI. I enjoy understanding how systems work, identifying weaknesses, and building secure, maintainable applications.
💻 Software Development & Blockchain
My technology interests and experience span TypeScript, React, Vue, Next.js, Redux, Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, and SQL, alongside Ethereum, Solidity, Rust, and Web3. I’m particularly interested in software architecture, domain-driven design, and smart contract security.
🛡️ Cybersecurity
I develop my security skills through OWASP-focused study, PortSwigger training, OffSec materials, and hands-on work in my isolated cybersecurity lab.
My practical work includes:
- Web application security: Assessing SQL injection, file inclusion, authentication weaknesses, access controls, and system permissions.
- Security monitoring: Collecting and investigating endpoint logs, suspicious processes, authentication events, and network activity using Wazuh and Sysmon.
- Network security: Configuring segmented virtual networks and exploring firewall controls, traffic analysis, and intrusion detection with pfSense and Suricata.
- Vulnerability assessment: Practising authorized testing against DVWA, OWASP Mutillidae, Juice Shop, and WebGoat, and documenting findings, impact, and remediation.
☁️ Cloud & Artificial Intelligence
I hold the AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification and have knowledge of AWS Solutions Architect concepts, with an interest in Azure architecture.
I’m especially interested in the security of AI-powered applications and autonomous agents, including prompt injection, sensitive data exposure, identity, permissions, and human oversight.
