[FEATURE]: Pan and zoom controls for mermaid diagrams (Desktop) #57620
I have verified this feature I'm about to request hasn't been suggested before.
Describe the enhancement you want to request
Currently, Mermaid diagrams rendered in the Desktop chat interface are displayed as static SVGs inside a fixed-width container. For complex or dense diagrams (such as large architecture diagrams or long sequence flows), text and nodes become too small to read and hard to navigate.
Proposal: Add interactive pan and zoom capabilities to Mermaid diagrams in the Opencode Desktop will solve the problem:
Zoom In / Out: Support zooming using mouse wheel / trackpad pinch, plus optional overlay buttons (+, -, Reset)
Pan: Allow click-and-drag or scrolling navigation across the diagram when zoomed in
If this is approved, I would like to open a PR myself
Thanks for the suggestion, @congchuahiep! You're asking for interactive pan and zoom on Mermaid diagrams in OpenCode Desktop: zoom with the mouse wheel or a trackpad pinch, optional + / - / Reset buttons, and click-and-drag or scrolling to move around a zoomed diagram. That would make large architecture diagrams and long sequence diagrams much easier to read.
Maintainers will consider it. Thanks for offering to open a PR; it's probably best to wait for a maintainer to respond here before starting.
