Describe the enhancement you want to request
Add Hebrew language support to OpenCode.
Currently OpenCode has no Hebrew (he) locale. This adds a full Hebrew translation covering the app UI, the shared UI components, and the desktop layer (menus and dialogs).
Hebrew is an RTL language, and the existing dir="rtl" mechanism (already used for Arabic) covers it — so no new RTL infrastructure is needed.
Related: #22515 (an earlier Hebrew locale issue that was auto-closed for not following the template).
Thanks for updating the issue! Everything looks good now — the title and description both follow the template. We'll take a look at adding Hebrew locale support.
Update: I've reached out on the existing PR #39423 (feat(i18n): Add Hebrew language support with RTL handling) — offering to help rebase it onto the current i18n architecture and to provide a complete, tested Hebrew dictionary (I maintain the opencode-hebrew-rtl community package). If the PR author doesn't respond, I'm happy to open a clean follow-up PR based on their work. Hebrew + RTL support is ready to contribute — happy to lead it.
For Hebrew text rendering (independent of UI locale), the opencode-rtl plugin adds bidi isolation so Hebrew renders correctly in the TUI. It detects Hebrew script automatically.
Hebrew localization is included since v2.0.0, with right-to-left layout in the app and Hebrew support for desktop menus and dialogs. Update the desktop app to get v2. If you still see this on v2, please open a new issue with the details.
