Paid model fails with "Unexpected server error" #41944

Description

@lostmywind

Description

Go subscription. Same API key works for deepseek-v4-flash on my PC
(desktop client) but on my server (same OpenCode 1.18.16, same key) it
returns:

"Unexpected server error" (ref: err_88f929e7)

Free model (deepseek-v4-flash-free) works fine on both.

OpenCode 1.18.16 · workspace wrk_01KZNC9A5SK5QFAWRKSQK5KG5M

OpenCode version

1.18.16

Steps to reproduce

  1. Use OpenCode Go subscription, provider "opencode-go" with API key (type: api).
  2. Run: opencode run --model opencode/deepseek-v4-flash "test"
  3. Expected: model responds.
  4. Actual: returns Unexpected server error (ref: err_88f929e7).

Note: The SAME key + SAME version on my desktop client runs
deepseek-v4-flash fine. Free model (deepseek-v4-flash-free) also works
fine on the server. Only paying models fail on the server.

    This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

    If your issue is specifically about the paid model working on one machine (desktop/Windows) but not another (server/Linux) with the same key and version, that environment-specific angle may be distinct. Please check the above issues to see if they capture the same root cause before proceeding.

    @1996y2007-star

    I have the same issue with an active OpenCode Go subscription.

    OpenCode version: 1.17.11
    Go dashboard: active subscription, 0% usage
    OpenCode Go credential is configured and model discovery works.

    Failures across multiple Go models:

    deepseek-v4-pro
    → Unexpected server error
    ref: err_5b3d24c2

    glm-5.3-flash
    → Unexpected server error
    ref: err_920352ea

    kimi-k2.7-code
    → Unexpected server error
    ref: err_75734ac3

    This is not model-specific.

    Please check whether my Go entitlement/service account is correctly provisioned on the Go backend.
