Stack position: Python PR after #3 (ABA-165).

Passes DataScan.limit into the pyiceberg_core ArrowReader max_rows path so the native opt-in reader can preserve limit semantics.

Validation reported by implementer:

  • uv run pytest tests/io/test_pyiceberg_core.py -q

Current status: draft, under Codex red-team review. Known red-team focus: max_rows contract with the Rust row-limit PR and limit=0/partial-batch parity.
