User Guide
In this section you will find information about all the features of Duo Strength, including their behaviours and limitations, and an FAQ.
Duo Strength is a browser extension to improve the user interface Duolingo language learning platform. At its core it adds a visual indication of hidden and removed details into your language tree and Duolingo interface itself, in particular the strength of each individual skill. Inspired by the user profile pages on the duome unofficial streak hall of fame website, Duo Strength gives a way to view much of this information and more without needed to leave Duolingo or have two pages open.

How is the strength of a skill determined?
The strength of each skill is not calculated by Duo Strength, but by a Duolingo algorithm that appears to be based on the individual strengths of the lexemes for each skill. Duo Strength just relays this value to the user, similar to how it used to shown in the user interface before the crowns update. -
Some of the flags in my change languages list don't have a border?
The border for each flag is updated only after you switch to that language for the first time after Duo Strength has been installed.
Also note that only trees that have been finished, i.e. at tree level 1-5, have a coloured border while an unfinished tree has a white border. -
Why is the next sentence still hidden after I hit the translation reveal hotkey?
The translation reveal hotkey (default: Ctrl+Alt+H), is intended to be used to quickly reveal the current sentence without having to use the mouse with timed practice in mind. To turn off the translation sentence hiding feature, you can use the blue 'Disable text hiding' button if it enabled, or use the options popout by clicking the Duo Strength icon in your browsers toolbar. -
Practise or practice?
Practise is the spelling of the verb in British English, while practice is the noun.
Hint: If you can replace the word with rehearse, it is should be practise, if you can replace it with rehearsal, it should be practice
