CustomSplashScreen 2.0.0 changed many things about the config. Thus, it's incompatible with prior versions.

Config can be accessed via ModMenu or MidnightLib's config overwiew, everything there is pretty self-explainatory.
Images can be changed in the .minecraft/config/customsplashscreen/ directory.
Putting images in the .minecraft/config/customsplashscreen/backgrounds/ directory will randomly select one at startup.
