M3 first screen rebuild for launch conversion (README.md only, 367 lines ≤ prior 369):

  • Hero pain→proof: "false completion" named in the opening; the proof machinery listed is exactly what ships (doctor/inspect graded on invocation evidence, holdout gate, anti-cheat scan, runnable example with committed real verdict)
  • Truthful badges only: CI (main), Python 3.10–3.12, MIT, release 0.3.4
  • Three-tier stack diagram; tiers 1–2 runtime-neutral, tier 3 explicitly the reference runner (portability claim honestly scoped)
  • Comparison table with checkable facts: cobusgreyling/loop-engineering (4.9K★) credited as owning the term "loop engineering" — no coin-the-term claims anywhere, no disparagement; superpowers (244K★) and langgraph (36K★) rows; star counts fetched live 2026-07-02 with drift footnote
  • "proof-of-done" keyword in hero/headings; honest 90/strong inspect sample kept; every shown command executed and verified
  • <!-- demo.gif lands here (M3-GIF) --> placeholder for the demo GIF task

Gates: 150 passed + 2 skipped (incl. the docs-claims wording guard); self_eval 13/13; frontmatter 9/9.

Merge requires the M3-README human copy sign-off (recorded in the launch loop's approvals).

Lead with the pain (false completion) then the proof this repo ships:
validator + inspector graded on invocation evidence, held-out gate +
anti-cheat scan, and an example whose false_completion:false is backed by
a committed gate verdict. Add CI/Python/license/release badges, a
three-tier stack diagram (portable contract / proof toolchain / Claude
Code reference runner, tiers 1-2 runtime-neutral), and a checkable
comparison table naming cobusgreyling/loop-engineering as the owner of
the term "loop engineering". Own "false completion" + "proof-of-done" in
hero and headings; never claim the "loop engineering" term. Trim
redundant Core guarantees + duplicate clone blocks to stay under length.
