Note
Unofficial community project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. It reads the same undocumented endpoint as Claude Code's /usage command, which may change without notice.
- Glanceable — the icon is the number: percent of your 5-hour session left, in green, orange or red.
- Session and week — hover to see both limits and when they reset.
- Zero setup — uses your existing Claude Code sign-in. No API key, no config.
- Lightweight — 220 KB, refreshes every 2 minutes, optionally starts with Windows.
- Private — talks to
api.anthropic.comonly. No telemetry.

Every two minutes the app reads the OAuth access token Claude Code keeps on disk, asks the usage endpoint how much of each limit you've used, and shows what's left of the 5-hour session.
The app never refreshes the token itself: that would rotate it and sign Claude Code out. Claude Code refreshes it while you use it, and the tray picks up the new token automatically.
| Reads | Your access token from %USERPROFILE%\.claude\.credentials.json (read-only) |
| Sends | That token, over HTTPS, to api.anthropic.com — nowhere else |
| Writes | Only when you toggle them: a Run entry for Start with Windows, and Windows' own Show on taskbar setting — both under HKEY_CURRENT_USER |
| Never | Stores, logs or refreshes your token · Sends telemetry |

I don't see the icon
Windows 11 hides new tray icons under ^ next to the clock. Right-click the icon there and choose Show on taskbar, or turn it on in Settings → Personalization → Taskbar → Other system tray icons.
The icon shows a grey ?
The token is missing or has expired. Open Claude Code and run any prompt so it refreshes the token; the icon recovers on its next refresh.
Windows SmartScreen blocks the download
Releases aren't code-signed yet. Choose More info → Run anyway, or build from source. Each release lists a SHA-256 digest per file, which you can compare with:
