Nexus is a student-led technical and research organisation at Manipal University Jaipur, under the Directorate of Student Welfare. It brings together students curious about space science, aerospace engineering, computational physics and modern software.
The Web Development wing turns that research into experiences people can use, from interactive 3D science on the web to live telemetry and the platforms the club runs on.
| Nexus pillar | How the web wing supports it | |
|---|---|---|
| 🔭 | Deep Space & Astrophysics | Visual simulations of orbits and the night sky, and a home for the astrophotography archive |
| 📡 | Ground Stations & Telemetry | Real-time dashboards for sensor payloads and SDR downlinks |
| 🌐 | Spatial Web & Creative Computing | WebGL, Three.js and shaders: our home turf |
| Domain | Focus | Core tech |
|---|---|---|
| 🌌 Cosmic & 3D WebGL | Interactive 3D interfaces, visual simulations, scientific storytelling | Three.js · WebGL · GLSL |
| 🛰️ Telemetry & Ground Stations | Organising and presenting live sensor data in clear interfaces | WebSockets · Real-time UI · Data streams |
| 🔬 Research Publications Hub | Accessible archives for student research and technical writing | MDX · LaTeX · Archives |
