File Format Guide

Each resource section contains files in two formats:

Format Purpose When to Use
.pdf Print-ready, fully formatted reference document Share with stakeholders, print for workshops, use as a reference baseline
.md (Markdown) Plain-text, editable version of the same content Copy into your wiki, customize in any editor, version-control your changes

For sections 03–10, additional formats are provided depending on the resource type (.py, .sql, .pptx, .docx, .xlsx, .html, .svg).

📂 Repository Structure

Note on file pairs: Sections 01 and 02 contain each resource as both a .pdf (formatted, print-ready) and a .md (editable Markdown). They are the same content in two formats — use whichever suits your workflow. The .md filenames don't follow a single naming convention (most are snake_case, a couple retain the original Title Case name, e.g. Data Retention Policy Template.md and escalation_procedures_doc.md) — match files by folder and topic rather than assuming a strict filename pattern.

SQL Scripts (sections 03, 05)

The SQL scripts are written to be compatible with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL. Check the comment header in each file for any dialect-specific notes.
