Description

Optimizes Stellar Horizon API polling by implementing exponential backoff with jitter to reduce excessive requests, handle failures gracefully, and prevent synchronized retries.

Changes

  • Implement exponential backoff for Horizon polling tasks.
  • Apply jitter to prevent synchronized retries.
  • Slow down polling after failures or empty responses.
  • Improve handling of Horizon rate limit errors.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Jitter is applied to prevent synchronized retries.
  • Horizon rate limit errors are reduced by 90%.
