I don't think it works as it should

iPhone see the PC, but PC sometimes see the iPhone. When PC discover the iPhone i can send the pair request, but when I accent on iPhone then PC don't get the request back. I had only one situation when PC saw the iPhone and I did the force request, and i had a special functions in iPhone, but after going to home screen and coping some text and returning to the app app was disconected.

Hi @NintyS thanks for the report. Can you tell me what OS / version of both the PC and the Phone? I want to try and reproduce this.

Also, you can try starting fresh:
stop the app on all devices, then:

pkill tetherd
rm -rf  ~/.config/tether/known_hosts.json

Open tether on PC then on phone, but this time try sending the pair request from the phone and accept it on the PC. Does that work?

Once the two devices "see" each other both should show a popup confirmation for the pairing. If you are not seeing the popup on either the PC or the phone that would also be very useful information. Thanks!
