I'm on go version go1.21.1 darwin/arm64.

Well, the output speaks for itself:

'go get' is no longer supported outside a module.
To build and install a command, use 'go install' with a version, like 'go install example.com/cmd@latest'

You need to use go install instead of go get since you're not inside a Go module directory.
