Linux usage

I am exclusively playing DRG on my Steam Deck or Linux desktop, how would I use this with Proton on Linux?

I think you would just download the x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu release, run, and point it at the correct folders as usual

All mint does is download mods, form a pak out of them and place them in the game folder

For me i cant get it run on linux..

I got to run by forcing it into Vulkan on windows version.. Linux version still didnt work..

you should check #298 and #299. the Linux build relies on an outdated library that some systems are missing, and an environment variable needs to be set to launch MINT on Wayland:

• download and extract the files
• open a terminal in the folder, next to the mint file
• run chmod +x mint, to allow the file to be executed as a program (typically by right clicking on it)
• run ./mint
  • if you get an error about the file libssl.so.1 missing, you will have to acquire the specific version of that library, according to your distribution (Linux Startup Error #298 has some details, and instructions for apt and dnf. be aware of the risks of installing outdated security software on your machine)
  • if you get the error interface 'wl_surface' has no event 2, or MINT opens in an invisible window, you are likely on Wayland. try to run again with this: env -u WAYLAND_DISPLAY ./mint
