loading bar until it cancels

i am trying to connect the app to a selfhosted Lounge (v4.3.0)

when i try to connect it shows a animation & shows Loading.. for longer than 10 seconds (not sure how much exactly)
then it just cancels and the animation is gone

is there a setup guide for reverse proxying the lounge for AppIRC to work ?
