No FindUsagesHandler that can handle LSPUsageTriggeredPsiElement

Hi. I'm trying to integrate with "LSP Reference(s)" action. My problem is that IDE cannot find any handlers that would handle matches from LSPUsageTriggeredPsiElement.

Do I need to implement a custom FindUsagesHandler?

Affected IDEs 2026.1, 2026.2.

It's caused by the other plugin that optimistically returns true from canFindUsages, but later returns null from createFindUsagesHandler.

Maybe the right approach would be to place LSPFindUsagesHandlerFactory at the end of extension list, right before Default handler and be less aggressive in rejecting the handling?

the final rejection can always happen in createFindUsagesHandler

The other FindUsagesHandler implements a delegate pattern, that wraps around another handler that can handle given psi element.
That approach doesn't work well with LSPFindUsagesHandlerFactory, which is only active when no other handlers can handle the element.
