Hide invoice groups

I'd like to add the ability to hide groups of invoices from previous years in the invoice creation window without deleting them.
Is it possible to do this somehow, or perhaps implement this feature in the next version?

I want to be able to hide the groups of invoices that I don't need from previous years so that only those from the current year appear in the drop-down list in the invoice creation window.

Explain "groups of Invoices".
Let's say i have 1000 Invoices in my Invoices table.

Then it's up to you to tell based on which criteria you want to "hide invoices"

I have the following invoice groups:
Invoices 2026
Invoices 2025
Invoices 2024
Invoices 2023, etc.

I want to display only the Invoices 2026 group on the invoice creation page and hide all the others.

So the criteria for the Invoices 2025 is what.. an Invoice Group?

• How do I recognize a Invoice from Invoices 2025 and from Invoices 2023?
• Let's say it's 1 January 2027. What do you do to prepare for Invoices 2027?

I created a new group of invoices for 2027 with the new numbering.

As you can see in the image below, I want only the 2026 groups to appear in the list.

You can make what's called a pull-request for it.
You can edit the Controller or Model that deals with Invoice Groups and then particularly the Controller or Model function that deals with that select box.

After you have made your changes you can submit it as a pull-request: "This is my improvement, please add it" and then it will be considered
