⚠️ Problem
In FOCUS cost exports, the rows carrying the Billed Cost for a storage reservation are categorized in Service Category "Management and Governance". They would better be categorized in "Storage". The rows carrying the usage and Effective Cost for the same reservation are well categorized in "Storage".
This makes the cost reports look inconsistent when filtering on Service Category = "Storage". This is a typical filter and users expect to see the cost of storage reservations.
In comparison, the Savings Plans look better: the Billed Cost and corresponding Effective Cost rows fall under the same Service Category.
🛠️ Solution
I propose to categorize the Billed Cost of reservations under the corresponding Service Category (Storage, Compute...). As the first screenshot shows, the row is already associated to Storage through the x_SkuServiceFamily and x_SkuMeterCategory, so it makes sense to have the Service Category equal to "Storage" as well.
