Already supported in current main. The Selection property on datagrid widgets accepts Single | Multi | None (PascalCase, canonicalised internally so any case works).

Working example:

Implementation path: cmd_pages_builder_v3_widgets.go:172 reads w.GetSelection() and feeds it to BuildDataGrid2Widget via DataGridSpec.SelectionMode, which datagrid_builder.go:applyDataGridSelectionProp wires into the pluggable widget's itemSelection property.
