Action without closing nnn

Is there a way to perform an action while keeping the nnn window open?

My use case is that I want to add the selected file to the arglist with Ctrl + a without having the nnn window closed after.

This is how I do it at the moment, but I have to reopen nnn every time after hitting Ctrl + a

vim.g["nnn#action"] = { ['<C-a>'] = 'argadd' }  -- add to arglist
