Measurement duration - save_interval / buffer

Maximum measurement duration seems determined by the maximum buffer size available. This means that undefined-length measurement (e.g., vibration fatigue test) can't be performed in a single measurement. Setting high buffer time freezes the GUI.

save_interval variable must be triangulated with trigger conditions to allow ring buffer saving and reducing the buffer memory required and allow undetermined duration of measurment

Having an infinite buffer does not make sense. The buffer should be used to give the process fast access to unload measurement data on one side and on the other side, the buffer should be periodically emptied (e.g. by saving it to the disk).
