SDL without Query root node

One of our federated GraphQL services only has Mutations (ie: no queries are defined)

When trying to run this type of schema, we get the following runtime error

Caused by: graphql.kickstart.tools.SchemaClassScannerError: Type definition for root query type 'Query' not found!

Is there a way to skip this start-up check? What are others doing to work with/around this?

For the time being we have defined a dummy query node but that feels quite dirty
