Remaining reqs. disappear after first prompt with GPT models.

Describe the bug

When using a GPT model, the remaining requests counter disappears after submitting the first prompt. The counter is visible before the first interaction but is no longer shown in subsequent turns.

Actual behavior:

The counter disappears after the first prompt when using GPT models. This behavior does not seem to occur with Claude models.

Affected version

GitHub Copilot CLI 1.0.14

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Launch Copilot CLI
2. Select one of the GPT model (e.g. via /model)
3. Note the remaining requests counter is visible
4. Submit any prompt
5. The remaining requests counter is no longer displayed

Expected behavior

The remaining requests counter should remain visible throughout the session, consistently across all models.

• OS: Ubuntu
• Model used: GPT-5.*
