Question about one of the updates in Version 7.7.6

Can additional details on the double C-K conversion (2025-09-03 c5456ac Remove double C-K conversion) be provided? E.g., would this have affected the results of a CFAST calculation? If so, was it just 7.7.5 or did previous revisions have this issue? I did not see this raised as an issue (open or closed).
