Community Helm chart for MongoDB on Kubernetes — HelmForge

Hi! I maintain a community Helm chart for MongoDB as part of HelmForge, an MIT-licensed open-source Helm chart repository. The chart uses the official mongo Docker image from this repository.

With Bitnami moving towards a more restrictive model, there's growing demand for Helm charts that use official upstream images instead of custom Bitnami builds. This chart fills that gap.

The chart supports:

• Official mongo image — no custom builds or proprietary layers
• Standalone, replica set, and sharded cluster architectures
• S3-compatible backup — CronJob with mongodump, uploads to any S3 endpoint
• Authentication and RBAC — root user, custom databases and users via values
• Custom mongod.conf via values
• Arbiter support for replica sets
• CI validated with lint, template, helm-unittest, and kubeconform

This is a community chart, not affiliated with MongoDB Inc.

Install:
