1. Project Overview

DJcode is a local-first AI coding CLI that runs entirely on your machine. No cloud. No subscription. Your code stays yours. It connects to local LLM backends (Ollama, MLX) or cloud providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, NVIDIA NIM, Together AI, OpenRouter) through a unified interface. It features 22 specialist AI agents (10 dev + 12 content), a multi-agent orchestrator with semantic routing, a smart prompt enhancer, a dharmic ASCII buddy companion, 3-tier memory with ChromaDB vector store, a full TUI with keyboard shortcuts, teachable skills, voice input, and a complete content creation pipeline.
