Describe the bug
Cannot disable AutoBaud (inconsistent in nature). Had to toy around with repeatedly resetting the GPS settings in order to get the right baudrate to get a fix. After a while, I was unable to disable AutoBaud. Upon clicking 'Disable', the pop-up would appear, but would ultimately leave AutoBaud enabled. Resetting GPS settings to default & rebooting the GPS module, even rebooting the device did not fix this issue. Seems as though a reflash will be needed.
Which device are you using
LilyGO T-Deck Plus
Which Firmware are you using
v0.9.12.3
To Reproduce
Kind of a shot in the dark, but broadly speaking:
- Disable AutoBaud
- Set Baudrate manually
- Restart GPS module (not the entire device)
- Reset GPS settings to default
- Restart GPS module (not the entire device)
- Repeat steps 1-5 (potentially multiple times) until it occurs.
Additional context
This issue was noticed specifically on a CYPHER M8K variant of the T-Deck Plus (which seems to have the incorrect baudrate associated with it, baud defaults to 38400 instead of 9600).
