Question about final CrowdSec ingress-nginx images #4410

Description

What happened?

Upstream ingress-nginx published the final patch releases about three weeks ago:

  • controller-v1.13.9
  • controller-v1.14.5
  • controller-v1.15.1

On the CrowdSec side, the currently available ingress-nginx controller versions appear to be:

  • 1.13.7
  • 1.14.3

And no CrowdSec image for 1.15.1 is available yet.

Based on the existing CrowdSec version and branch naming, it looks like CrowdSec generally follows upstream ingress-nginx controller versions for its plugin builds.

We are aware that ingress-nginx upstream reached end of maintenance at the end of March, so these are expected to be the final upstream updates. With that in mind, we just wanted to ask whether CrowdSec is planning to publish images for these final upstream patch versions as well.

What would be nice to know

Could you let us know if there are plans to provide CrowdSec builds for the following final upstream versions?

  • crowdsecurity/controller:v1.13.9
  • crowdsecurity/controller:v1.14.5
  • crowdsecurity/controller:v1.15.1

If not, a short confirmation that no further image updates are planned would also be very helpful for upgrade planning.
