Example not working

i was getting in developing this for the first time using the examples i found in the website
but the dependencies are not found in maven repository, i tried to manually dowload the jars but even that not worked...

how can i add the dependencies to my project?

Thanks for your interest in Compas-SCT. The artefacts are not pushed to maven central. They are available in Github Package.

My DevOPS team set up a proxy in our internal maven repo, so I am not familiar with the Github Package configuration. I am going to investigate and will get back to you soon.

Hi,

• First, you need to generate a personal access token (classic) with read:packages permission.
• Then you have 2 options :

Option 1 - Add repository globally

Add the github-packages-compas repository globally by adding it to your Maven configuration settings.xml like this (don't forget to put your own personal login and token) :

In the pom.xml file of your project, add this :

is it possible to generate a cid file with this library? if possible how i can do it?

or is possible to extract only the ied data from the generated scd file i make?

Hi,

Glad that you manage to make it work.
The library does not provide a service to generate a cid file or to extract a single IED from a SCD file. This has not been implemented.

https://meinberg-sync.github.io/mbg-open-scd/ and https://transpower-nz.github.io/open-scd/ provide options to extract CID files. This is not added to CoMPAS yet. https://github.com/[OpenEnergyTools/scl-lib](https://github.com/OpenEnergyTools/scl-lib) is also worth looking at.

@GustavoAFernnandes What use-case do you have in mind?
