The actual gap is exposure: zero confirmed external adopters ecosystem-wide, self-admitted in base-cli's docs/adoption-evidence.md and base-bash-libs' docs/who-uses-base-bash.md. Writing this up publicly (the self-critique process itself, the threat modeling, the provenance chain) would double as the distribution motion that gap needs.
