Turn the product-assessment/threat-model self-critique habit into public writing #2120

Description

@codeforester

The dated product-assessment.md review deltas, the STRIDE-style threat models (base-cli), and the SBOM/provenance chains (base-bash-libs) are unusually candid engineering discipline for a solo project — and currently invisible outside the repos themselves.

Every repo in the ecosystem now scores well on engineering rigor (architecture, tests, docs, CI all land in the 4.0-4.7/5 range per a recent review). The actual gap is exposure: zero confirmed external adopters ecosystem-wide, self-admitted in base-cli's docs/adoption-evidence.md and base-bash-libs' docs/who-uses-base-bash.md. Writing this up publicly (the self-critique process itself, the threat modeling, the provenance chain) would double as the distribution motion that gap needs.

Lower priority than the other items from this review — more of a content/marketing initiative than an engineering task.

Surfaced by the 2026-09-05 cross-repo engineering review of the Base ecosystem.
