Groups created on mobile (Android) do not appear on Vector Linux desktop

Bug description

Groups created or joined on Vector Android do not appear on Vector Linux (v0.3.3 and Nightly).

Steps to reproduce

1. Create or join a group on Vector mobile (Android)
2. Connect with the same npub on Vector Linux desktop (v0.3.3)
3. The group does not appear in the Groups tab, even after adding multiple good relays and clearing cache.

Expected behavior

Groups should synchronize between mobile and desktop clients.

Environment

• Vector Android : latest version
• Vector Linux : v0.3.3 + attempted Nightly
• OS : Ubuntu 24.04

Additional information

• Contacts and DMs sync correctly
• Only groups are missing
• Adding relays (primal, damus, nos.lol, vibe.nostr.build, relayable.org, purplepag.es) does not solve the issue
• Clearing ~/.config/Vector does not help

This seems to be a known synchronization issue with kind 39000+ events.

This is known, it's currently a limitation in Marmot (MDK), only one device running Vector can receive invites and exist in a group at any given time, Multi-Device support is a planned feature for the MDK, which Vector uses: marmot-protocol/mdk#251

Once MDK has multi-device support, we will implement it. 🙏
