My original GE front panel board had a total of 7 LEDs. (an extra Descale and Sanitize LED) Unfortunately, before I began the reverse engineering project, that board died. I have no way of knowing how to toggle these LEDs without a working board to test. I was unable to find a replacement for this version of the board with 7 LEDs, and the current documentation only covers the 5 LED version
The original GE motherboard has 2 headers for what appears to be RGB, and the GE Opal Mini Pro brags about an RGB LED in the features. This makes me think the motherboards are mostly unchanged between revisions. I was unable to find parts for this on Ebay. Additionally, research points to some other models of the ice maker having RGB lights for status indication
